  • Collection management by the Bank’s team, without altering the leverage indicator (Bank Debt to EBITDA ratio).

CONDITIONS

  • ​Customers must export to Europe, the USA or other international destinations.

  • Accepted currencies are USD, EUR, and GBP.

  • The minimum monthly export amount to be “discounted” is
    $200,000 USD.

  • Consultation must be made on a case-by-case basis for customers with exports of perishable products.

HOW DOES IT WORKS?

  • Bank allows max payment term of 90 days (120 days with consultation)
  • FACTORING International advances 80% of invoice value within 24 hours
  • Client transfers funds to their Costa Rican account
  • Bank deducts financial cost and deposits remaining amount into client's account

COSTS

  • The annual interest rate ranges from 8% per year to 15% per year. This will be defined by the Bank based on its final payer qualification parameters, on a case-by-case basis.
  • ​
  • A “management fee” must be paid for approval of the credit line, which ranges from 0.50% flat to 1% flat. It is paid when the credit line is opened, which will be defined together with the interest rate.
